Thanks for visiting. I hope I can help you to understand the unique importance of the election of 2004. This nation, for the past four years, has suffered under a Congress and Administration that has carried out a ruthless assualt against every segment of American society - veterans, seniors, workers, the military, women, minorities, the middle class, ordinary investors, the environment - against all except the top campaign contributors: corporations and the wealthy. Our government was intended to be a government for all the people, and so it must be once again.

To this end, I pledge to fight for the following legislative priorities:

Fight to restore respect and trust for the US in the world community

Fight for an honest prescription drug plan under Medicare

Fight to restore the rights of working men and women for overtime pay and create jobs

Fight to balance the budget and pay down the national debt

Fight to assure the solvency of Medicare and Social Security, oppose privatization

Fight for true clean air and clean water

Refuse to appropriate funds for a military adventure unless the nation is truly threatened
Fight to make Medicare available to all Americans and reduce medical costs to both individuals and industry
Fight to preserve the freedom of choice im reproductive decisions
Fight to require polluters to pay for clean up of their pollution, not taxpayers
Fight for full funding of education, Medicaid, other safety net programs

It’s important that you understand that this year’s election is not about Party.

This Administration and Republican Congress are not your father’s conservatives. True conservatives do not plunge this nation into senseless wars and send our sons and daughters to slaughter, or to be severely and permanently maimed, when there is no threat to our nation. True conservatives do not generate record budget deficits and record national debt. A truly conservative Congress would not appropriate $87 billion and deny itself oversight authority of how that tax money is spent, nor would it refuse to outlaw corporate war profiteering with our tax money, giving the President a free hand to squander our tax dollars as he alone sees fit. True conservatives would not pass legislation to forbid Medicare to negotiate down drug prices, guaranteeing that Americans will continue to pay the highest prices in the world for prescriptions with our tax dollars.

It has been the Democratic Administration that has governed in accordance with true conservative principles. In the eight years prior to the takeover by these unprincipled radicals, the Democratic Administration balanced the budget, developed a surplus that could have paid off our national debt by 2008, created 22,000,000 new jobs, grew the Dow-Jones Index from 4000 to almost 12000, and sustained the longest period of economic growth in the history of this nation.

Don’t fear prosperity. Ignore the abuse of the word ‘liberal’. Be good to yourself and vote for the real conservatives. Vote for regime change in the US in 2004.
